The hobby horse takes center stage in the manege! Chevalier is an homage to the horses of the circus and the silent movie era. Breakdancer and circus artist Kalle Letho from Race Horse Company invites us to a stable full of hobby horses and, together with silent movie aesthetics, creates a fun-filled circus performance for children. The performance won Finland’s Theatres Children and Youth Prize in 2021.
Race Horse Company was awarded the Finnish State Prize for circus arts in 2016 and has since their beginning been at the forefront of the Finnish circus success story. The company tours internationally with circus performances and cabarets. Kalle Lehto, one of the founders of the company, is a multi-talented acrobat and a breakdance champion.
